Starting to get the message out

On the moment that Dimitri Orlov writes that he takes a break from blogging about the subject of collapse and decides to focus on his personal software project, we are about to really kick off a tiny project that may not stop collapse or the destruction of the planet but may offer a different view on how to, at least theoretically, reverse the path that humanity is on. The analyses of the causes of the problems that the world as a whole faces and the solutions brought forward, in my opinion, fail to hit the final nails on the heads or bring it together as a coherent, logical story. Predicaments like climate change, overpopulation, mass extinction, social injustice, wars and societal collapse have distinct causes that are understood in a fragmented way. Once our monkey brains can truly understand these causes and tie them together we can perhaps agree on the real solutions. But who am I to know what the answers are to these issues that occupy many great minds? I have a functioning brain that can absorb and create thoughts and I deprogrammed myself to not value titles and resumes, because many with these so called qualifications fail big time, but to value the logic, merits and results. Apparently diplomas will not stop the dark clouds from growing bigger while the irreversibility of our damage done to the planet draws closer. I do not claim to be unique and groundbreaking in the parts of my argument that I will present. Only the whole is in so far unique that I do not hear or read it before in the way I do explain it nor do I know many people who try to live accordingly. That is why I am starting to publish my ideas here even though at this moment I have no fixed planned format of how I am going to bring 'my case'. Although simple in its parts and many borrowed from other thinkers and doers, it is complicated to present it all in a waterproof way because it is easy to forget those tiny details that will be used to deny the overall premise. Even if I deflect all the arguments against my thesis I do not have the illusion to change or save this globe from disaster. The assumption that we should save the world is a setup for failure because it is anthropocentric and that is exactly one of our pathological symptoms. We can best change ourselves and our behavior and if that changes something or someone else in a positive way than that is a reward to continue to change ourselves in the chosen direction. Besides explaining the theory of Fruitarky in bite size pieces here, you can be witness of the daily practices that we preach and love.
